Finished Repairing 11 green

We finished repairing the damage at 11 green Thursday. We used sod cut from chipping green for the repair. The reason we use our sod as opposed to purchasing sod, we are able to cut the sod 3 times as thick (up to 3" thick) as purchased sod. This gives us more stability after sod is laid. We can then replace the sod at our chipping green with purchased sod, not as crucial for this area if sod is thinner (depth). Sod will bumpy for a short period while we continue to smooth with roller.
