Fall Aerification

We were able to finish the aerification process Tuesday, and the weather was perfect. We were able to aerify, topdress, and work the sand in the holes. Having dry weather for all of these procedures is crucial. Dry weather allows us to dry the sand on the surface of the green, and this gives us the opportunity to work the sand in the holes. Filling the holes completely will give us a firmer playing surface in the weeks to come.
